Другие ностальгировали по старшешкольным годам чудесным, когда Motley Crue были первыми вестниками грядущего гормонального взрыва. Так или иначе, но этот концерт просто не мог оказаться неудачным. Для фанатов создали все условия.
Вот, к примеру, не заявленный в программе разогрев в виде группы «Stalingrad Cowgirls» — трех крикливых глэм-панкушек — комфортно начался за полчаса до официально заявленного старта шоу. Сам же триумфальный выход переживших 90-е удалых лос-анджелесских отморозков задержался всего на каких-то полчаса. Когда упал занавес, скрывавший буквы SOLA «Saint Of Los Angeles» — по названию последнего студийного альбома и самих музыкантов, в зале раздались крики, переходящие в стон и визг, не стихавший до самого конца.
Эти песни, немудрящие по мелодии и потому с первого прослушивания запоминающиеся, Motley Crue и катает по миру уже много лет и потому до отказа забитая фан-зона, которой на концертах супергрупп только дай попеть любимое, пела весь московский концерт вместе с вокалистом, а кое где и за него. Этому хору были подвластны и достаточно редкие в песнях группы тональные переходы, наподобие того, что поется в Too Fast For Love, хите с первого альбома группы и длинные ноты из Dr. Feelgood и эффектный речитатив из Saints Of Los Angeles. Располневший, но по-прежнему бодрый, юлой крутящийся на месте, то тонким голосом поющий, то волком воющий Винс Нил, Сикс, вжившийся, видимо, в образ полутрупа и потому вдруг начинающий ковылять на полусогнутых со своей бас-гитарой ниже колен, Микки Марс в широкополой шляпе выходивший на крылья сцены на своих, в этот раз коротких, но внятных в каждой ноте гитарных соло... Во всем этом было много фирменного, так свойственного Motley Crue театра, эпатажа и даже цирка, за который группу десятилетиями любит публика, на чем эта группа и строит свой сценический образ.
Главный номер цирковой программы мы увидели в момент традиционного барабанного соло Томми Ли. Оно, может быть, было не столь виртуозным, но просто Томми сыграл его на сей раз... Кроме трюка с барабанами, музыканты готовили публике еще один фокус, выйдя на сцену с полуодетыми девушками для подтанцовок, для подпевок ли - до самого финала концерта это было несведущим непонятно впрочем, в донельзя заводной трехаккордной Girls, Girls, Girls барышни смотрелись на сцене вполне уместно.

A row of light boxes kept everything captivating and bright during the hour long daylight set. Crue was the most visual. Being their first major tour in 7 years the anticipation was mounting as even their stage set was reported being shut up a warehouse for over two years. There was what looked to be erector set staging all over the stage with which dancing girls could use to climb. However had stated that he was going to get himself in shape for the tour and after recently seeing Bon Jovi , he did a great job! Tommy Lee who had suffered 4 broken ribs a couple weeks prior to opening night played his first entire set!

Девушки громко визжали, а Томми с удовольствием лапал молодых парней. Чуть позже он заберётся на сцену и скажет, поглаживая свой член и посматривая на него сквозь оттопыренные штаны, как ему весело тут в Москве. Если уж петь зе бесты, то петь. Не обошлось без Saints Of Los Angeles. А завершили свой сет эти потасканного вида парни своим изумительным Dr. После биса с Home Sweet Home на сцене остался только всё тот же Томми. Он принялся петь… О нет, это нельзя всё-таки назвать пением. Томми принялся скандировать слова песни, завершившиеся неизменным «Motley Crue!
Зал пропел это сам, на чём концерт и завершился. Дух рок-н-ролла по-прежнему буйствует в этих лихих парнях. Даже если они выглядят как престарелые геи, и не всегда чисты вокальные партии, и странное впечатление производит новая старая музыка Motley Crue. Какой кризис? The fact that Joan had been touring right up to the stadium dates was evident in the fact that she did not miss a single beat throughout the 45 minute set. She sounded identical to me as she had some 33 years earlier. Poison coming off a 4 year hiatus was simply amazing! The energy alone from Bret Michaels working the crowd dressed in a black Poison shirt with trademark bandanna was contagious. Rikki Rockett had a super cool green kit with the Poison skull and bones on the bass drum, the bones were images of sticks creatively spelling out his name.
